The things that happen in Africa, mystify
the scientist, and leave the professors dump founded. Some
people attribute the events to what the world has come to
know as "black magic".
Zimbabwe is no different
from the rest of Africa, the so called black spirits and
powers, lurk about and are always at work. Wether its
lightning that bolts out of a clear blue sky and is
directed at a foe or mysterious globins ( a.k.a
"tikolotshi", "bechulude", "ndofa")
roaming the night doing the masters business. The dark
side of Zimbabwe and Africa can not be ignored.
One of the latest occurrences is described as follows,
"In a bizarre incident, a school pupil at a Bulawayo
primary school said he was shocked to find that there was
no chamber in the toilet when he went to relieve himself.
The chamber had disappeared not just the toilet seat,
which might be understandable with a little stretch of the
imagination, but the toilet chamber had gone.
This followed strange happenings at the school
following the death of one of the teachers at the school.
A few days before some female students said they were
scared to death when they saw an active bodiless hand in
the toilet.
This has led to chaos, as now pupils in the lower
grades were afraid of going to the toilet. Some did not
even want to come to school.
However authorities at the school naturally and
diplomatically dismissed the occurrences as rumors spread
by mischievous individuals. But only a true Nyanga
"witch doctor", might be able to divine the
truth.
