Contact and corrections

This site is built out of what people send in. Corrections especially.

If something here is wrong, say so and we will fix it and date the fix on the page. If you have photographs, a school magazine, or your own account of a place, those are the most useful things you can send.

What happens to what you send

The full version is in the contribution guidelines: what to tell us about an item, what publication permission covers, and the short permission record to send by email. Terms of use · Privacy

A reader's account is published in their own words and credited to them, unless they ask us not to. A correction is published with the date it was made. Nothing is quietly rewritten.
